How to raise urban chickens not dixie chicks, part I

I was delighted to see on my DVR Sunday night that Friday’s episode of Martha Stewart was completely devoted to raising chickens. This being one of my goals for 2010 I was happy that Martha is on board with my mission to better myself in the next nine months. This is one of several videos I will be posting over the next day or two devoted to all things chicken.

This weekend was the Austin Funky Chicken Coop Tour . . . here is a link: http://fccooptour.blogspot.com/ The featured coops were pretty diverse, and ranged from complicated and expensive, to coops made out of recycled South by Southwest signs.
I started on my tractor coop yesterday. It’s going to be an A-frame . . . I think.
But where can you buy the Sean John clothing in the urban chicken’s sizes?
they are included with the upgrade package by the same name. You can also choose from Emo, Biker, and Dixie Chicks.
Well I definitely won’t buy emo chicks, because I dont like bitter eggs.
You ladies are amazing! – so you were able to get the HOA on your side?
I have seen these! They come very highly recommended even though they remind me of a cat carrier. Whenever a description uses absolutes like, “impossible for predators to break” I figure the product must be pretty good if they are going to make that claim. Are you planning on buying one? Would love to hear about your experience.
OMG – I want one of these now too! — http://www.omlet.us/products_services/products_services.php?view=Beehaus

I’m sure you’ve already seen the Eglu.

I have read that they are pretty good, especially if you don’t have the money and space to have fancy coops like Martha’s.
